Author

I am an author. I have always had a knack for writing stories. My school papers from early elementary school are filled with short stories. I continued with my creative writing hobby throughout school, dabbling in poetry during high school. Later in life, I rediscovered my love for creative writing through participation in the National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo.

Nonfiction

I have researched, developed and presented several seminars and related study materials for the ARE. While primarily useful for students and “interns” studying for the exam divisions, several seminars are broadly applicable to active practitioners as well. More information is available in the ARE section of this site.

I have also had several articles published on professional topics:

Fiction

I started participating in the National Novel Writing Month (“NaNoWriMo”) in 2006. After a few false-starts, I completed my first 50,000-word challenge in 2010. I followed that success with my first completed novel, began during the 2012 NaNoWriMo and finished in June 2013: Edge of Infinity is self-published and available on CreateSpace and Amazon.

Games

Games, and role-playing games (RPGs) in particular, have always held a certain fascination for me. I have developed a couple of my own games as well as extensions or resources for third-party games. More information on these games can be found at flieghund.com.
