Project Architect / Project Manager

6/2006–Present: Project executive and technical lead for broad range of project types (civic, retail, K-12 education and higher education) with involvement from schematic design through construction documents, construction administration and project close-out. Responsible for scheduling and directing staff during all phases of projects. Expanding marketing and business development responsibilities including client management, proposal preparation and project interviews. De facto “code expert” for office and California Region.

Certified Access Specialist (CASp)

9/2009–Present: Perform field investigation, conditional analysis and written report documentation regarding construction-related accessibility standards compliance. Internal design phase plan reviews and construction phase inspections. Technical advice for access compliance across all projects types.

Forensic Architect

9/2008–5/2011: Investigated construction defects (including field work and documentation review), provided litigation support services (including code research, presentation preparation and critical issue analysis), and assisted in development and oversight of remedial design work.

Designer / Job Captain

2/2001–6/2006: Directed junior staff during design development and construction document phases. Co-chaired interoffice “Technical Roundtable” group. Active member of inter-office “CAD Leaders” group. Some construction management and marketing experience.
